Blue is one of my favorite colors for nailart designs, and I’ve realized that I have done quite a few simple and easy designs that are suitable for even beginners to try at home. Most of the designs I do are fairly simple and can be completed in less than 30 minutes, so I decided to share some of my favorites. One of these designs is not mine, but I’ve linked it back to the creator so she can get credit for it.
The nail art design above is a very simple one and yet it really has a certain something about it. I started by painting the nail in one shade of blue and then added random dots of blue on top of it. One color polish had glitter in it, which created a gem-like effect. The best thing about this nail design is that anyone can do it, and all you need is a set of dotting tools and a few shades of blue nail polish.
Simple and Easy Teal Nail Ideas for Beginners
Teal has always been one of my favorite colors, and I’m working on a range of simple and easy nailart designs in various shades of teal. The designs below are easy enough for even beginners to complete and the most elaborate one is probably the image to the right.
This design was inspired by the fact that two people had very different ideas of what I should put on my friend’s nails. I ended up combining a French glitter tip in teal with white flowers. I did the tip first and then added the flowers on top using dotting tools. Last, I added detail with a white nail art striper and glued rhinestones on the ring fingers.
This was a spur-of-the-moment idea I had for a nail art design, and the end result was rather interesting. I used nail art pens in blue, teal, and gold to make the blobs on the nail. All I did was stick to the color sequence and cover the entire nail while working in horizontal rows. This took a little while to complete, but you’ll most definitely not need special skills. The randomness of the design is what gives it its charm, so it’s not supposed to be perfect.
This simple and easy nail art design in teal is easy enough to do a full set in around 15 minutes, and you won’t need a steady hand either. I painted the entire nail in teal nail polish, added a glitter tip using a glitter nail art pen, and then stuck loose hexagon glitters on top while the polish was still wet. The beauty of this design is that beginners won’t have to struggle to position the glitter exactly right, and it creates a gradient effect, which is quite eye-catching
The design was created using two or three different nail polishes and sticky tape. Tape can be cut to use as guides for French tips or to help paint straight lines onto the nails. I love the fact that every nail is different somehow, and this is another great design for beginners. It needs minimal products or tools and is really easy to do. The simple and easy nailart design idea above is one with a gradient teal tip. I did this one a while back but thought the tutorial would be helpful for anyone who wants to try this one at home. Painting the flowers takes a little time, but it’s well worth the effort.
